A technical description is a document that describes an object and the object’s functions. The description process of an object goes through all the parts corresponding to the object as well as how the object works. A technical description uses a multitude of imagery in pair with the descriptions to help make the description of the object as clear as possible. When writing a tech description here are 3 main topics to focus on. Identify your audience helps give background information to help your audience understand the subject. Organization of your information helps you have your information organized properly as to make sure your reader understands everything they are reading about. Dividing up your tech description under 2 categories such as “Parts” and “Properties” helps keep the information organized. “Parts” will focus on the interworking of your object. “Properties” will describe how your object is used, what applications it is used in, its dimensions, etc.
